What We Do:

Cocalico Valley VFW Post 3376 (The Ephrata VFW) was chartered in 1935.  At that time we were the only VFW Post in the entire Cocalico Valley.  Since then many other posts formed, but we maintained our original name.

Our members take great pride in supporting the many National VFW programs that benefit all Veterans and Community members.

Troop Support: We support the military community in many different ways, including donations to Keystone Military Families, VFW Veterans and Military Services, and sending care packages to our deployed troops.  We know how important this is because all of our members have been there - serving overseas in harm's way.

Veteran Support:

  • We provide a place to connect with fellow veterans, share stories and experiences.

  • We can connect you with a trained Service Officer to assist you in processing your VA claims.

  • We visit the Coatesville VA Hospital and provide an afternoon of fun and refreshments, along with personal care items.

  • We provide financial assistance to those veterans who may need a little extra help during the year and also by making donations to the VFW National Home.

Patriotic Activities:

  • We distribute Buddy Poppies on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day

  • We host Veteran's Day open house with a free meal to the community

  • We place US Flags on veterans' gravesites at eight local cemeteries with the help of the Auxiliary, Scout Troops 38 and 115 and Cub Scout Pack 38

  • We teach flag etiquette to local youth
